The apostle Paul tells us in Second Corinthians Chapter 2, verses 6–8, “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

At Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, we believe that one way we demonstrate our gratitude to the Lord for his saving grace is by generously sharing out of the abundance with which he has blessed us. Each week we bring an offering to God as an act of worship.

When offerings are received our Deacons are responsible for distributing these funds to support of our church and God-honouring work in our community and around the world.

1. Faith Promise (Budget) – every year the congregation votes on a budget. This includes staff and building, and program needs.

2. Faith Promise (Charitable Causes) Every week there is a cause designated by the Deacons and approved by the church Council.  The offering schedule below shows which cause is on for which Sunday.  For more information on some of the organizations we support you can click on the ministry partners button.

3. Faith Promise (Denominational Ministries)  We are connected with a region (Classis Toronto) and a denomination (CRCNA – Christian Reformed Church in North America).  Part of our ministry promise goes to supporting regional and international ministry through these connections as well.
